Fast-rising Kenyan rapper Stonee Jiwe has unleashed a new blazing hot track titled Okay. Stonee Jiwe is known for hits such as Relax, Sishikiki and Drama. The audio for Okay, produced by Realtym Music is available on YouTube.
“The track is about where I come from and all Ghettos share one thing in common ‘The struggle is real,’ Stonee revealed to Verse5ve. “Then again, the ‘Passion is immense.’ So I wrote the song giving God all the glory because of His favour as I speak to the Youth in the ghetto asking them to rise up and wise up,” he explained.
The song is Stonee Jiwe at his best, starting off with these lines:
Mmmmm mitaaa Ina Nuna/ Youth Wana rock heavy metal Ile design ya Chuma/ Na preach Ghetto so amp your Tuner/ KU Chase dream Ni nightmare kumejaa ma Kruger/ Kila Mtu anadai Kukulaa/ I got shine na si type ya Jeweler / UnderGround nime Hike ma sewer/ Meditation Medication juu my style ndio Cure.
The chorus is catchy with the BGV singing ayaiyaiyaiya as Stonee says Okay with his occasional trademark ai.
He fastens things up in the third verse as the track approaches it’s end, albeit quicker than you would like as you want him to go on.
Okay is a must listen, and comes eight months after his Stonee’s last song, Relax. He told Verse5ve that during the period, “I was learning. I had to take some time off and work on my craft and also plan for my future career. To my fans, the WAIT is OVER!”
